What Are Seasonal Rules?
Seasonal rules are time-based settings that automatically:
- Show different menus at different times (e.g., breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Change prices seasonally (e.g., summer pricing)
- Hide or show items based on availability
- Apply promotions on specific dates
Common Use Cases
- Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner - Automatically switch menus
- Holiday specials - Show Christmas or Valentine's Day menus
- Seasonal ingredients - Hide items when ingredients are out of season
- Happy hour - Apply discounted pricing during specific hours
Setting Up Seasonal Rules
- Go to Seasonal Rules in your dashboard
- Click Create Rule
- Define the schedule (dates, times, days of week)
- Choose what changes (menu, prices, item availability)
- Save and the rule applies automatically
