Account signup consent
Workspace users must accept the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Customer Privacy Notice before creating an account. Menuraq may store timestamp, user identifier, policy version, and source route to prove acceptance.
Cookie choices
Visitors can accept all cookies, decline optional cookies, or dismiss the banner. Essential cookies remain active for authentication, security, and service reliability.
Guest order consent
When customers place orders, request service, pay, join loyalty, use wallet features, or receive receipts, the restaurant and Menuraq process the data needed to complete and support that action.
Service notifications
Transactional messages may be sent for account verification, order updates, receipts, booking status, loyalty updates, billing events, and security notices.
Marketing consent
Promotional email, campaign updates, or optional marketing messages require an opt-in where applicable. Users and customers must be able to unsubscribe or request suppression.
Sensitive action confirmation
Actions such as billing cancellation, data export, account deletion, team invitations, payment proof uploads, and customer data changes should show clear confirmation and preserve an audit trail.
Merchant payout consent
Before Menuraq creates or changes a Paystack payout subaccount, the merchant is told that payout details are sent to Paystack, Paystack may email the platform account owner for verification, the first payout may be delayed while the subaccount is reviewed, and Menuraq does not currently retain a percentage of eligible online payments (the platform split is 0% on every plan). If a platform fee is ever introduced, the exact rate is disclosed in the payout settings UI and consent checkbox before the merchant confirms. Documents requested by Paystack must be submitted through Paystack. Menuraq records the consent version and timestamp in the business audit trail without storing full account numbers or identity documents.
AI-assisted feature consent
By using AI-assisted features (menu enrichment, document extraction, import mapping, image generation, analytics insights, or the guest assistant), you acknowledge that prompts and relevant business or catalogue data are sent to third-party AI providers (OpenCode Zen, Groq, OpenRouter, and HuggingFace) to generate responses. Free-tier AI providers may retain prompts to improve their models, so Menuraq restricts them to non-identifying operational and catalogue data. Identifying personal data is never sent to free-tier providers; it is only processed by providers with a data-processing agreement. AI outputs are generated automatically and may contain errors; you should review AI-generated content before publishing.
