The menu became the operating system.
Most food-business software treats the menu as a brochure and everything else as a separate product to buy. Menuraq is built the other way round: the menu is the layer the kitchen, the counter, the guest, and the owner all read from. We are building it so growing food businesses do not have to become technology companies first.

The menu was the wrong abstraction.
A digital menu on its own solves the smallest part of the problem. The real work is coordination: the menu has to agree with the kitchen display, the guest order, staff shifts, stock, and the books. So we treat the menu not as an endpoint but as a layer: the one every other surface reads from.

Menuraq started with one engineer and a menu, and became a platform once it was clear the menu was the smallest part of the problem. It is still built by one person, with a second pair of eyes whose job is to use it like an owner would and report everything that doesn't work.
Neither of us has run a restaurant. We've spent two years paying attention to people who do, which is why Menuraq has six business types instead of assuming everyone runs a dining room.
